Drydock/Internal Structural Examination Certification Course Nov 2025 (In-Person) Paducah

Course Summary:

The Drydock/Internal Structural Examination Certification course (3 day In-Person course) is open to TVIB members and non-members alike. The course provides surveyors who plan to conduct Subchapter M drydock and internal structural examinations of inspected towing vessels with the tools, skills and knowledge to complete these examinations, and provides a path toward an industry-recognized credential.

Non-Members:   $1795

TVIB Members:  $1435*

*TVIB members & USCG receive a 20% discount when registering for the course.  

Documentation:

Practical exercises, quizzes, a final exam and active participation in class are required to earn your certificate.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be submitted one week (7 days) prior to the first day of the course.  Please note that a cancellation fee of $150 will be charged.  No refund will be issued for non-attendance without notification or for early withdrawal from a class.  Please send cancellation notifications to: info@thetvib.org
